Dr. Apples has turned one of his infamous art dolls into a sticker. This doll is based off of the Queen Anne dolls made around the 17th - 19th century. Queen Anne
Dolls were wooden dolls based off of Queen Anne (reigned 1702-1714). They have a simple jointed body and a carved face decorated with stylized eyebrows and rosy cheeks.
Queen Anne dolls were only available to the most affluent of families. Most of the dolls were owned by women who dressed them in fashionable gear for the time. Eventually the wooden traditional method of creating these dolls varied to glass or porcelain years later. Fewer than thirty-seven 17th century Queen Anne dolls have survived.
